@cur4tor gets a plotted starter <3
she's stood before the blackboard with chalk pen in her hand, hoodie hanging off her shoulder and deep in thought. only, if she were thinking about the assignment (her best recollection of the timeline of art movements they'd covered this semester...), she'd be TALKING through it. instead, her professor is given a moment of quiet to regard the neglected papers he'd brought to occupy his time while she worked. things hadn't been the same since seeing each other in foxtrot bookshop.
"cris?" nealie says his name before she even looks at him, maybe because it's easier to. the marker is capped and there's a moment of worry hanging in the air, like something has been decided but not yet discussed, til her soft and shy smile spreads. "i think that maybe..." now she's fighting back laughter, knowing this is going to sound corny no matter what. "i think we need to see each other more often." stepping towards him, she sits on the edge of the table and tucks her hands into her pockets.
"i spend my whole week excited to catch up with you and then we get here and i can't focus on what we're here for..." he hasn't seen her blush like this before, but she's being purposefully vague. she'd take anything he'd give her, be happy with however he'd spend time with her. "i can't pretend i'm not curious about you!! and... and we both know reilly anyway, so it's basically like he introduced us."
