just had an "ah ha!" Moment. Remember how in ATLA ty-lee knew how to chi block? What if Amon was like her son or something, and was mad because he had a sibling that could bend and he got made because of the rivalry so he felt that he wasn't treated like his bending brother was, and then he gets mad and wants revenge and somehow figures out how to evolve ty-lee's blocking to make it permanent and so he starts the equalist movement?!?! *sigh* okay i'm done
Well I guess your theory isn’t completely implausible.  My brother and I were discussing theories last night and our favorite one was that Amon is Nigel Thornberry. And then we decided Amon is really Sokka, who is trying to toughen up Korra. On a more serious note, our dad thinks Tarrlok might be Amon, which I can see why he thinks that. I just wish we’d see more of him. He’s supposed to be the main antagonist, but lately it’s really been Tarrlok. Also going back to your theory, that’d mean Ty Lee ended up with some dude who could bend. And we know that her real love interest was Azula.
