hi im really confused as to why people dislike ben c. i mean, he is a good actor and so far ive not heard anything problematic hes done (?)

YO ANON DID U KNOW: MARVEL //OFFERED// HIM THE PART THEY DIDNT FORCE HIM TO TAKE IT. He made that decision. Instead of using his platform to highlight the issue he just took the job. It's totally reasonable to hold him responsible for his decision

also: cumberbatch has done some super problematic stuff, i enjoy some of his work as an actor but i do not his looks or him himself. 

also also: this is a+++ correct. if he is such an amazing person, why did he not look up the character they asked him to play, realize that this character should probably be played by someone hispanic or latino, and say, yes, thank you, but i don't think i should play this role? he could have done that. it's not as though he needs he money desperately. 

marvel did offer him the job, and that is a problem. marvel also gave the roles of the maximoff twins to white people, not jewish or romani people. that is a problem. but while i am disappointed with marvel for this, i am also disappointed with cucumberpatch. i am directing my disappointment towards both of them.
