hi so I dont know if you noticed, but the meat-falin picture was blast-reblogged like 10 times onto your blog rather than the once. Not that I mind an intimidating woman staring at me while she's emerging from a pile of meat, but I thought you'd like to know ^^;

Super loving your art! I am curious though, did IS-OT start as a wall-mounted unit and then later got a more movable body? Or did they just pretend to be more stationary to seem less likely to attack?
thank you! and, the first! kind of? technically IS-OT starts as a facility-wide AI that can only really control a small portion of the building. after he completely overtakes the building, he builds himself a few bodies, with his favorite being the one i draw most often. he hates how humans are built but envies the fact that they can like, actually move lol.
his chassis is... mostly for show? ultimately pointless? it still has to be connected to the building to function (meaning he is still trapped) and it doesn't have a nervous system to feel anything, but it's better than nothing! when you're an AI left to rot in an abandoned outpost, even the illusion of freedom is nice, haha. if anything, it gives him enrichment in the form of hunting military personnel that occasionally show up.
I personally really love your use of strong colors - they're powerful but without feeling uncomfortable to look at! I also like how you make characters seem like they're 'resting' if that makes sense, like they aren't just floating in space, but is placed comfortably.
