If only he and the other person would remember, and no one else would ever find out? Well, his ethics may prevent him from fraternizing within his own chain of command, but that leaves the main body of the military fair game, aside from those scant few months he technically ruled the empire. There are a wide variety of interesting people in the structure of high command he wouldn’t mind spending a clandestine evening with.

I’m glad because I honestly got scared to post that.

Lance can be a great guy he’s really become so supportive for Allura and he has this great relationship with Pidge and his friendship with Hunk is cute and sometimes his little banter with Keith is actually fun banter but some of the things he says because of his insecurity and envy toward Keith are just not okay.

   “W- whoa, dude-” Lance’s hands were on his shoulders immediately as he closed in and lowered his head to try and look Keith in the eyes. “Keith, hey! What’s up, man? What’s wrong? Talk to me.” Without even thinking about it, he pulled the raven into his arms, as if to hug the sadness out of him. “I’m here for you. I know I’ve been an ass to you, but that’s just because it’s… fun, you know? to tease you,… but just… please, talk to me.”

Keith allowed the other to hug him and after a few seconds even slipped his arms around him in return. He had missed them.. missed Lance too, even missed his teasing. The Blade was nice and all, but team Voltron was like his family at this point. His only family.

He was tired.. He’d been working so hard and constantly had to be focused on battle, no distraction from his friends, no nothing. That, and not too long ago he had been ready to sacrifice himself. 

And God, had he been scared.. Of course he hadn’t wanted to die, but he felt like he had to. His friend’s lives had been at stake after all. It was no surprise that it had left quite a big impact on him.

“Do you plan on staring at my hair for the rest of the night cycle? Any harder, and I fear your stare alone may set my hair afire.” Though he had taken a crack at a sense of humour, the way the last part of his enquiry had sounded flat, a hint of mild annoyance being the only evidence of emotion he would dare show.
