'Cuarentones' quiere ser graciosa, inspiradora y emocional, sin embargo no logra ser nada por el poco empeño en su realización.

César es un chef exitoso, dueño de un restaurante italo-mexicano junto con su gran amigo Paolo, un hombre alegre y optimista. César está felizmente casado con Amelia, con quien tiene un hijo de diez años llamado Enrique.
