I’ve known my best friend for almost 5 years. We met in the first grade and have been inseparable since. Our parents describe our bond to be siblingly so I usually just refer to her as my sister instead. Recently, we were supposed to attend a halloween party but she got sick right before I could go. She got dengue fever and was hospitalized for days. I was devastated, scared, I worried about her 24/7. She stayed strong though, and got out of the hospital today! A true trooper. My stinky soldier of a sister, Julia. ♥︎
