🧡Happy weekend my loves!!! #skincaresaturday is in full effect out here in Jersey!!! I know I talk about it all the time, so I thought I’d show you beauties what’s keeping my eyes from looking a mess! I’ve been using @drunkelephant 𝗖-𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗠𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 & 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗺. They are both super smooth and light and work like a dream! All of DE’s products are formulated to work together, like instead of layering serum and serum and moisturizer, you can mix them together as one step! And trust me, that’s how I do it every day & night with their products. So I do mix #ctango and #Shaba together as one step for my eye treatment. I’ve looked at pictures recently from last year and the year before and my skin and my eyes look completely renewed. I actually look older in pictures from two years ago than I do now. 💗How do you #babyfacial ?!? I leave my @drunkelephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial on for 15-20 minutes (depending on how my skin has been behaving during the week and if I’ve broken out and I have scarring, I’ll leave it on the full 20). Then I rinse with cool water, pat dry and make a smoothie with #bhydra and #marulaoil . I apply my #CTango eye cream (usually mixed with #shaba ) and I top it off with #fbalm ! I wake in the morning to smoother, brighter skin! (And in the morning I cleanse and freshen with #milki ). I wanted to talk to you beauties today about a new product I got a few weeks ago when I got my order from #sephora . This is the @drunkelephant Shaba Complex Eye Serum. I wanted to talk about it because I was under the impression that I was going to start using it and since it’s an anti-aging formula, which is what I was looking for, I thought I’d see results right away. (I want to help & teach you all what I know- whoever comes to my page and reads my posts... the same way that I have been helped and taught what I know). Little did I know that 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙨 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 would make all the difference in what I was seeing now. I had thought that the nighttime retinol eye serum I was using at night (another brand) was working wonders, and turns out that, now that I’m NOT using it, my eyes are really dry and I look like death. I had already been using the #ctango for over a month during the day from #thelittles kit, so I mixed it with the #shaba in the morning for some added vitamin-C and now at night I dab a little #virginmarulaoil in with the Shaba for some added hydration (thank you SO much @novaknowsbeauty for all your help XoXo💕💕). And retinol? I still use it... in the form of #apassioni a few times a week, mixed in with my other skincare and not on my eyes!!💚 𓃰 🧡Moral of the story? When starting a new skincare regimen, give it some time to start working and take a look backward to see if there is anything in your past that may trigger unwanted consequences or concerns if you aren’t loving what you’re seeing. I was a little naive when I started the retinol system and I wish I would have known more about it before using it. Don’t be so quick to blame your new skincare system. Always do your research. 🎀 One more shot of my @DrunkElephant babies because they’re the only thing keeping my skin in check during all of this travel!
