concept for my red haven court! this isnât really halfway finished even, you can tell where i just completely half assed it but whatever
there are two generic dragons for size so that skull is an imperial skull probably. the whole network of tents has living space for both the leaders and most of the court members, and is held up by the magic of the captive elementals (which i didnât draw go me). i might draw specific rooms later

How does starting a game over work for the human? Like, say, after an extended period of time, the soul entity goes "you know I haven't played this game in awhile, I wanna pick it up again", what would the human's experience be like in that regard? Would they remember their life up to the point that their soul partner decided to play again, or would it just have them live their life again like nothing happened?
Also how do humans cope with speed runner soul entities?
As a general rule in this AU, Player influence on the world is pretty mundane. Restarting a play-through is normal and it doesn't effect the world like it might in Undertale. The Human would live their life like nothing happened if the game restarted. And whatever game you ended on, would be the one they remember. and speedrunners....?
The speedrunners always seem to get a Human who's also into that kind of thing.
Maybe the soul as an organ couldâve ancestrally evolved in your AU worldâs vertebrates as a filtering organ, like a kidney, that sat over the heart and filtered blood of toxins and what not. Then it couldâve evolved in humans and monsters to also regulate magical energies. Which is why soul entities can possess human souls, because they already act as a storage for magical forces.
OH. MY. GOSH. This is an amazing theory! KWHFSdkjadnfgl And it even lines up perfectly with what I theorized on how (in this AU) Magic is toxic in concentrated amounts!!! It's literally a gosh-dang MAGIC FILTERING LIVER!

The soul probably looks quite different when its inside the body. Its physical- but it is not as "physical" as some other organs. And since filtering magic is so crucial, the soul is closer to the heart so it can filter magic directly from the bloodstream. Yippie!

What I will tell you is that he got black out drunk his first time drinking at a party. He was hilariously out of it and kept asking Chara to play beer pong and dance on the furniture with him. He then proceeded to throw up the entire night.
