Well, it's exactly like that but a bit more literal now.

And so we ended up with a living Michael AND a spirit Michael.

The later ends up possessing the corpse of his little brother, heal it and now he gain a new body.

Everyone thinks he's actually Evan.

1) Remember everything and is freaking out.

or

2) Doesn't remember much, and actually believe he's his little brother until his memories come back gradually after a while.

Shelby doesnt use magic as often as she used to, but its still apart of her lovely, late night, seattle coffeeshop

Its been a few years since he dropped the Great/Storm witch title, since they left the empires and witch trials completely.

He owns a quaint, open late at night, coffeeshop in Seattle, Washington. They talk with the locals often, sometimes getting not-so locals

Its been three years, and they just learned Hyde was moving back! Thats great!

But one day the door opens, and its a group of people.

All of them from her past, and none of them aware how golden, all to familiar, eyes stare longingly at them as they talk before ordering.

Except one. Staring back, yet still not sure who this (clearly dyed) orange haired person is. Katherine swears, after she leaves with Gem and Jimmy, that she knows the barista. they call her crazy. She goes back the next day.

She arrives, and the cute barista is talking to someone - a vampire perhaps - and she takes a seat next to him.

"Hello!"

"Hello Ma'am."

"Hm.."

She smiles, and requests the same drink from the previous day. Her normal coffee order for the past 13 years since she had that coffee date with Shelby (who, mind you, she hasnt seen in 10 years. No fault of Shelby's, they got busy and couldn't follow up for that second date and eventually lost touch)

The barista makes it, and drags her into her conversation with the stranger.

"By the way, I never got your name? Ive been calling you the cute barista since last night."

The barista's face flushed and she smiled while the vampire hummed at both reactions.

"Ah- uhm- im Shelby!"

"Katherine. Nice to meet you Shelby."

"Yeah... you too.."

Some basic ideas for my Earth C x Pesterquest au. In short summary Karkat, Kanaya and Terezi from my Earth C au get stuck in the Pesterquest timeline and have to find MSPA Reader so they could get all of them back in their timeline.

In the process they try to help the kids with their revolution plans while also trying to convince them to go to their timeline because they think the pesterquest timeline is dangerous and unstable lol

Scott grew up in the town, moved away as soon as he graduated high school (yes this background has tragedy but I don't fully know the details yet), and went to trade school in the city. He was a welder, but sublet a room from a guy who he met in the business. That guy and his wife taught Scott about glass blowing, since they didn't want this teenager to be stuck doing nothing but working a hard job. It gave him a hobby and he got really good at it. Combined with his welding, he got known for taking on sculpture and stained glass jobs as a side gig.

He got hired to make an installation in the city college where he met this student who was always studying at EXACTLY the same time he was working in the building. He's pretty sure the building was supposed to be closed since, ya know, he was putting in a stained glass window and chandelier that took a couple weeks to install. But the student was really cute and really interesting to talk to so he didn't say anything...

Jimmy grew up in the city and was studying marine biology. That is all the details he gets for now because I'm very eager to write how he falls for the grungy guy renovating the biology department's atrium. :)

People included is gonna be super varied. Like FoolishGamers already has a one shot in it, and Illumina is a crime boss. Xisuma is the president of the community college, and Ranboo is an apprentice media archivist. I'm basically allowing myself to include anyone I want at any point lol.
