Do you like to make a ton of grids, but hate paying for all those stones? The answer is beads.  So we all love grids and making them look gorgeous, but sometimes gemstone collecting can get expensive, and not everyone has money to spend on them. You can go into any crafts store and buy a string of gemstone beads for a fraction of the cost of just ONE stone. These are still genuine stones, just check the package or the back tag on the shelf for it’s name.  Catch the beads on sale and you’re saving even more money.  Bonus to the beads is they are generally around the same size, which is great for making your grid look aesthetically pleasing. Their size also makes them easy to hide, or explain if you are still in the broom closet. You can just say you’re making jewelry.  Another bonus is once you are tired of the beads, or maybe start having money to spend on larger stones you can always use them to make jewelry or other crafts like wands, staffs, and other art projects.
