About them (basically me just yapping):
Many think that because Nox is related to one of the elite 4 and a league champion, that they would be a pokemon battler. Or, that they are actually really bad at battling and that they are hiding behind the fame of their family. Which is wrong. If theres one thing Nox hates the most, it's people. Especially people who view Nox as a shadow of their sister Rika, or a connection to their uncle Juno.
Even though Nox is a quiet and sweet person, many trainers overlook who Nox is and peer over them towards their connections. Because of that, Nox has become a very reserved person who keeps to themselves. Want to become their friend? Nice try lol. It would take you 3 business months to even get them to tell you their name (exaggeration but you get the point).
You know what I said about people wondering if Nox is a good pokemon battler or not? They are in fact, a very good pokemon battler. Despite denying any skill in pokemon battling; growing up around a pokemon battle loving sister, then later constantly hanging out with her girlfriend who was equally (if not more) pokemon battle obsessed, Nox knows their way around a battle. Nox is a very empathetic person, and hates when they see pokemon injured (especially if its their own pokemon).
On that note, Nox is also a natural pokemon magnet (and a nemona magnet). For most or their early years, they avoided getting a partner pokemon (or any pokemon for that matter) for fear of watching it get torn down again and again by it's opponent. Even after meeting their partner pokemon Florence- a smoliv they met- and starting to build their own team, Nox desperately tried to avoid pokemon battles.
Unfortunately for them, the plot has other plans for them (aka gym leaders, titan pokemon, and team star)

A: I dont like seeing my pokemon in pain. Unfortunately, Most of my pokemon llove to battle so we're currently at a stale mate

A: this one hold alot of fond memories for me. Plus, knowing how to sew is a good skill.

About them (basically me just yapping):
Born and raised in the Ferrum region most of his kid days, battling is in Juno's blood. Kind and resilient like a flower in concrete, Juno is the type of man everyones grandma would dislike at first, but grow to love more than her own grandchildren. Although Juno was born in the Ferrum region and is currently the champion of the Ferrum league, Juno didn't always live there. When he was 14, he studied abroad at Uva academy in the Paldea region until he was around 20.
During his high school years at Uva, Juno was the odd one out to say the least. He was known as the 'weird new girl' for many reasons. One being his informal speech and casual use of slang. Another? Because he often dressed in eccentric outfits, modifying the schools uniform to his whim. Many choose not to talk to him, but that didn't stop him from becoming best friends with one of the most popular girls at school; Rika. (anything i say ab rika before she appears in-game as an elite 4 is pure headcannons guys)
Rika and Juno where the best of the best. Best friends, best battlers, and the best power couple Uva academy had probably seen. They dated eachother all of their high school years, kicking ass during the yearly treasure hunts. Rika and juno started dating at 16, and broke up at 19 when Juno formally came out to Rika as a man. Although the two are no longer together, that doesn't change their strong bond built off of trust and lots of 'i'll do it if you do it'.
Despite being busy signing autographs and battling challengers, Juno will always make time to catch up with Rika and to bother Nox. (someone get this man more than 2 friends)

Q: Is it true you dated one of the elite four of the Paldea region?
A: YYyyyep! Me 'n Rika dated for a few years when we where teens. Don't get it twisted though, me 'n her are still suuper tight.
Q: How did you and your partner pokemon meet?
A: Funny story, I was at the beach right? And I was like,, 12 and minding my own business taking pics on my rotom cam, and Pika comes outta nowhere and starts to photobomb me!! We had a whole photoshoot together afterwards and before i knew it, pika was at home with me!
Q: You seem to really like animal print, what is your favorite print?
A: I really just like any animal print that looks good in orange, yellow, or black! Leopard print is my all time favorite though!
