Family: Fiachra's father, Nuada, is a Circle of the Moon druid and lycanthrope whose bloodline was blessed by the Lythari long ago. Fiachra's mother, Ríoghnach, is a Circle of the Land druid who was born to a dryad and wood elf. Though her mother's magic was too weakened and Ríoghnach was born a wood elf, not a dryad herself. Fiachra has a twin sister, Bláthnat. She is also a Circle of the Moon druid. Both his mother and sister are currently transmuted sacred oak trees that he and his father tend.

Personality: Fiachra is generally a soft spoken, good natured person who maintains a level head when faced with danger. As a youth, he was hotheaded and impulsive. Over the years, he improved his self control and filtered his energy into his interests.

He looks up to his parents very much. Working to be just as brave and passionate as his father, and just as gentle and devoted to nature as his mother.

Though he's very wise to the feelings of others, he is not always aware of the intricacies of polite society. He understands the most important or obvious manners that still applied within his druid order. But he figures that as long as he follows those, he is fine to shirk more minor ones he finds nonsensical. Such as being ashamed of being naked, though he knows it can make others uncomfortable so he asks first.

He can also be slow to trust others, especially in large cities where he is already uncomfortable. But once he trusts you, you have a loyal friend. If you break his trust, you have the wrath of nature at your heels.

Romance:

D&D: Fiachra does not currently have much interest in forming a long-term relationship, as his focus stays on being a steward of nature and working for his order's interests. But he is not averse, either. He is inclined toward polyamory, which is common of wood elven societies. He has a somewhat high libido that he jokes is from his mother's dryad blood. As true dryads only bear male children in the form of satyrs, and satyrs are notoriously rakish. Fiachra views sex as a bonding activity between friends, which can mean whatever you want it to mean with that person.

BG3: Fiachra romances Shadowheart and Halsin, with Astarion possibly joining after the events of the game. He's attracted to Shadowheart early on and enjoys earning the glimmers of her sweet-natured personality underneath. Then naturally, Halsin catches his attention and admiration immediately. Together, they help Shadowheart turn away from Shar. Fiachra is delighted to find she descends from a lycan, as he does. By the end, he considers them both as the dearest lovers and friends he's ever had. He agrees to travel with Halsin to help him rebuild. Also offering himself to Astarion in the wake of Cazador's death, in case he'd like to experience intimacy with someone he trusts.

Family: Sixth child and fifth daughter of Z'resne, Matron Mother of House Araviir and her consort, Kalanath. Last in the birth order of many daughters vying for power, her very life was precarious from the beginning. Her father received portents from Eilistraee for years prior that he struggled to keep secret. When he asked for a sign that it was safe to flee Menzoberranzan, Desdemona was born with silver hair and eyes. He smuggled her out and raised her on the surface among the Eilistraeeans.

Personality: To most, Desdemona appears even-keeled, almost noble in bearing. Each word and step measured deliberately. However, as you get to know her, you see that there is a witty, excitable woman underneath with a penchant for wandering off on excursions. Much to the chagrin of her trusted paladin retainers, Rhysrin and Narisorn.

She gives an honest effort to end conflict without violence always. But sometimes, she will end the conflict in whatever method is necessary. Though she has paladins charged to protect her, she seldom truly needs them. Between her radiant magic and skill with a blade, she is a deadly force when pushed.

Despite the great wisdom granted by her years and devotion to Eilistraee, Desdemona often remains willfully naïve to others' flaws because she wishes to help them in some way. Unfortunately, this makes her an easy target of those wishing to take advantage of her kindness. This feeds into a cycle of pushing herself to be perfect, lest she fail others. Which inevitably ends in burning herself out.

Romance:

D&D: Desdemona had some romantic flings with fellow priestesses and paladins in the Church as she came of age. The only serious relationship she ever had ended in tragedy. A szarkai named Rylimar came to her shrine under the pretense of escaping the Underdark. She worked personally with him and fell deeply in love. A week before their Love-Binding ceremony, he tried to kill her. A Lolthite spy sent to destabilize her shrine. Since then, she keeps romance close to the chest.

BG3: With her experience in rehabilitating former Lolth worshipping drow, Desdemona finds it natural to help Shadowheart leave Shar. What she didn't expect was to fall in love again after years of being afraid to let anyone in. Not only that, but the two women find a mutual project in rehabilitating Kar'niss from his time with the Absolute. All three forming a deep and loving bond as they work toward a happy, safe life for each other.

Family: The abandoned third-born son of Phaeravine, Matron Mother of House Vrammith and her consort, Nalaxle. Found in the Underdark by the halfling ranger Quindelline Littlemoon and brought home to her wife, Rosina, they raised him as their adopted son. He grew up in the Waterdeep area and considers it his home.

Personality: Friendly and jovial, Kaz has an earnest charm that ingratiates him well with others. Many think of him as a little brother, despite being leagues older than most of his travelling companions. He simply provokes that attitude in others. Seldom is he not smiling contentedly, joking around, or absorbed into some kind of industrious task like fletching arrows.

It makes his moments of seriousness all the more grim. When he's on the hunt, his entire aura shifts. His focus is unmatched. And he moves as silent as the dead. You may lose him in the shadows if you look away.

This focus on the goal before him makes him headstrong. He is an experienced adventurer, and will butt heads with others if he thinks a course of action is less efficient. This doesn't always make him right. Thanks to his line of work, he can also be frank without realizing that he should hedge his words. Unintentionally coming across as rude. Though he's very fast to apologize and try to watch his words.

Romance:

D&D: Kaz canonically has several past relationships. The most important being his ex-girlfriend, Mystie. The moon elf bard was his girlfriend for a decade before having to return to the Dalelands to fulfill her betrothal. They also had an open relationship when they were lovers. They are best friends to this day and write each other constantly.

BG3: Kazimir romances Halsin, as a ranger and druid make a great match. Though they start on the wrong foot, due to Halsin's history with drow, the journey they take together forms an unbreakable bond. The same sort of open relationship as Kaz had with Mystie applies here, since that suits the both of them. But they consider themselves committed to each other above others.
