Meet Merfyn, my first Patreon-voted OC! 🦭🐉🧡 After a Cryptid patron poll with options based on locations in the continental US, we ended up with the Northwest... and after some research, I decided to go with Marvin the Monster / Colossal Claude. From there, I did research on the mythos of the cryptid proper and decided to combine the lore with that of a selkie and dragon, giving them a human and selkie-dragon form :3 Plus the runner up in my heart, the ball-tailed cat, was added as a cute lil companion hehe.
