Sàn crypto Mỹ Kraken vừa thông báo đã huy động 800 triệu USD qua hai đợt trong hai tháng, đưa định giá công ty lên 20 tỷ USD, chuẩn bị cho kế hoạch IPO đầu năm sau.

Đợt huy động chính do các nhà đầu tư tổ chức dẫn đầu, gồm Jane Street, DRW Venture Capital, HSG, Oppenheimer Alternative Investment Management, Tribe Capital, cùng cam kết lớn từ văn phòng gia đình của co-CEO Arjun Sethi. Đợt thứ hai trị giá 200 triệu USD đến từ Citadel Securities, hợp tác nhằm cung cấp thanh khoản, quản lý rủi ro và tư vấn cấu trúc thị trường.

Kraken hiện mở rộng hoạt động toàn cầu chủ yếu qua mua lại, gần đây là Small Exchange với 100 triệu USD để ra mắt nền tảng giao dịch phái sinh tại Mỹ.

Công ty báo cáo doanh thu 472 triệu USD trong quý I/2025, tăng 19% so với cùng kỳ, và đạt 40,5 tỷ USD khối lượng giao dịch trong tháng 10. Co-CEO Arjun Sethi nhấn mạnh mục tiêu xây dựng hạ tầng tài chính mở, được quản lý và đáng tin cậy, cho phép mọi người giao dịch mọi tài sản bất cứ lúc nào, bất cứ nơi đâu.
