This time last year I was really starting to take the ball and run with things. Despite fears of branching out to new characters, worrying that it was all just a temporary thing, I just sorta grit my teeth and took a swing, and another, and so on.
Lest the world get it twisted, I never thought I was all that talented. I am keenly aware of my weak areas, and that somehow people have seen fit to overlook them in favor of what they consider my strengths. I consider myself lucky to have such loving followers who hold me in high regard.
I appreciate that you’d take the time to send me such a sweet message. So much of what I do here boils down to me closing my eyes and taking a leap of faith. Whether it’s trying a new voice, sending someone their commission, or exploring a new avenue like posting things on YouTube. Knowing that there are people who feel this way about what I do, and being reminded of it, makes those leaps a little less scary.
