Trunks, having only fused once in her life and with another Trunks, too, admires the courage and trust between any two people willing to fuse for an extended period of time.
Burceโs apparent comfort with himself and who/what he is. Who cares if heโs a mammal or a lizard or both or whatever? He doesnโt, and heโs not afraid to dismiss questions digging into his identity. Trunks wishes she was a bit more like that.
Similar to that, his straightforwardness. Burce doesnโt dance around subjects, and thatโs something Trunks has in common with him, though time travel and new societal norms have kinda knocked her onto the path of tact and politeness. She admires that he can still remain in such a way, when sheโs finding that sheโs slipping.
It should go without saying, but his power. Trunks respects and admires power in just about anyone (with a few, very major, very personal, very murdery exceptions). Fusions carry a considerable power upgrade, and Jeice and Burter on their own were enough to give her father a run for his money back in the day.
