Bobby Flay's Crunch Burger is a delicious treat that combines the classic tastes of a burger with the great crunch of potato chips. If you want something juicy and crispy, this burger is the way to go.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup crushed potato chips. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup diced pickles. 4 slices American cheese. 4 hamburger buns. Salt and pepper to taste. Vegetable oil for grilling.
Instructions: Warm up the grill over medium-high heat. Put the ground beef, crushed potato chips, diced onions, and diced pickles in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste, then mix the ingredients together slowly until they are well blended. Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty. Use a little vegetable oil to coat each patty so they don't stick to the grill. For medium-rare burgers, cook the patties on the grill for about 4 to 5 minutes per side. You can cook them longer if you want to. Add a slice of American cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking. Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown. The burgers and buns should be taken off the grill. Put the cheesy patties on the bottom half of each bun to make the burgers. If you want, you can add more pickles and onions on top. Put the top bun on top, and serve your Crunch Burgers hot.
