I'm so intensely emotional abt kris playing piano in ch4 btw. like. I cant even get my thoughts in order but theres just something about seeing glimpses of their true self here and there. We dont know who they are. We dont truly know what kris is like, we're an imposter in their body dictating their life for them – and its almost embarrassing because we! cant! play piano! We dont have the skills kris has, or the knowledge. But for some reason we're there, like a huge wedge between them and all their relationships. We see susie and ralsei grow so much closer, change and develop with the story, but kris doesnt change. They remain mute, unreactive and detached. Theres glimpses of them and their personality, their mischief. But its like seeing the ghost of who they should be. And then susie asks them to play piano and we sit back and watch this character we've hijacked play so passionately, this tragically beautiful piece, and we sit with the knowledge that for whatever reason, its us stopping them from being themselves. idk man. my feelings
