i could come up with more for this one tbh but... very hard to pull my hcs out of my brain once i am actively thinking "ohh what r my hcs" (i know they r there but.uwah) so uhh. answered here!!

ankle guy has something rather not good going on with his ankle. definitely needs to be seen today. he gets scheduled for the 10:30 same-day slot for an hour long appointment. dr s tells me to set up the exam room with all the stuff she’ll need. i do that and go back to my regular work until 10:30.

10:30 comes and goes. at 10:40, ankle guy is marked as a no-show. (this is clinic policy- show up more than ten minutes late and you gotta reschedule.) we assume that he has gone to urgent care to be treated, as they have better resources for his problem than our clinic. dr s and i use this time to catch up on other shit.

at 11:20, the schedule updates again- ankle guy has been marked as arrived??? i then get a message from the front desk saying this guy and his wife have been waiting in the lobby FOR NEARLY AN HOUR. FIFTY FUCKIN MINUTES.

dr s and i shit ourselves for a bit before telling the front desk to move his appointment to the only other open slot today. somehow she’s far more composed about the situation than i am in that moment. (i was ready to kill and perhaps maim, as this is not the first time that week that the front desk forgot to check someone in.) i then spend the rest of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon nauseous because if a patient is gonna yell at someone, it sure as fuck isn’t gonna be the doctor. :’)

ankle guy arrives again (and is actually marked as such this time) and i steel myself for the inevitable barrage… except it doesn’t come. ankle guy and his wife are lovely, and were just happy that he could be seen the same day.

dr s treats him, then she has to spend half an hour consulting with a specialist. i meanwhile help him schedule a follow-up appointment and handle the next patient (who is understandably not pleased about dr s being half an hour late to their half hour appointment). we then spend the rest of the afternoon/evening half an hour behind. i didn’t go home until around 6:20, and dr s didn’t get to leave until around 8:00.

Since this is a romantic song, I’m guessing it’s in that direction! But also it’s a very fun song full of activities that have nothing to do with romance and just hanging out together, so you both are at the very least friends. I suppose Travolta’s character in this song and his embellishments of the actual events suggests that one of you wished for something more.

Another romantic song but this one is a comedy song. You know, it has sex metaphors mixed up with food based innuendoes. Considering there is a rival in this song, I suppose someone tried to get in the way of your relationship. And also someone may have fought with that rival?? And also someone may have died?? I don’t know. I’m not even going to try to consider the implications of the horse
