Lanolin has been with Surge longer than anyone else. Ever since she was captured by Metal Surge while picnicking under little planet she has felt a strong duty to protect others. This includes Surge. Lanolin, follows Surge wherever she goes and makes sure no when gets caught in the crossfire between Surge and Maria. Her and Surge made for quite an effective team on there own. Her level headed demeanor and Surges brute strength was a powerful combo. She knew that Surge had a crush on her. She thought nothing of it and tried to keep there relationship platonic but overtime Lanolin started to grow attached to Surge. When Maria broke the planet apart and Surge was presumed dead it finally clicked with her just how much she cared. After the world was put back together they both mutually decided to to start dating. Together the both of them are stronger and Lanolin has proved herself to be core member of Surges friend group despite how bossy she comes off, everyone knows its because she cares.

He refused to let his amnesia after crashing to earth change him. He refused to let the arrival of the Black Arms Change him. Silver is unchanging in his optimism because it is his strongest ability. Not the psychic powers, not his connection with the chaos emeralds, it is his endless sense of compassion and hope. He knows with Gemeral, Blaze, and all his other friends there is nothing he can't do. Surge, and him but heads but he values her as one of his closest friends and that they bring out the best in each other. On some level Surge feels the exact same way, even if she never shows it.
