Knuckles and Amy:

I definitely imagine their SCU relationship will be a mixture of "sibling vibes" and respect for each other as fellow warriors. Plus, I imagine some playful competitive energy between them.

In my head, I definitely see them having a moment like Thor and Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (only it's the female character who is the one wielding the hammer). I could see Knuckles being impressed with Amy's fearlessness and saying, "I like this one."

Characters that haven't been introduced yet to the SCU, but how I picture their dynamics in my head:

Silver and Espio:

Silver and Espio's friendship parallels with Thor and Rocket to a certain extent. Like Thor, Silver is a hot-headed, "pretty boy" warrior with a lot of emotional baggage and a drive for destiny. Though Espio isn't much like Rocket, they have some similarities in they are both tough and intelligent guys with snarky personalities who are also part of an eccentric found families of crime-fighters.

Thor and Rocket/Silver and Espio make awesome duos, despite their team-ups not being part of their usual groups. Both Espio and Rocket act as a source of support for Silver and Thor when they need it:

While I'm not sure Espio would ever slap Silver, he may possibly be willing to give him a tough love talk if he ever needed it:

Rouge (not yet introduced) and Shadow (been introduced):

I definitely see Shadow and Rouge's professional partnership and deep friendship being like that of Clint Barton/Hawkeye and Natasha Romanov/Black Widow. Like Clint and Nat, Shadow and Rouge don't judge each other for their past mistakes and share a mutual empathy with each other over their shady pasts. Both respective duos make awesome teams. I would love to see Shadow and Rouge sharing snarky jokes between them like Clint and Nat do.

I also think they could be like a gender-bent Peter Quill/Star-Lord and Gamora, as one is the charming, snarky thief and the other is the emotionally guarded assassin with a sense of justice and may possibly have "daddy issues" (see @florence-castle's post about Shadow https://www.tumblr.com/florence-castle/819866534182895616/my-thoughts-on-shadow-in-the-scu?source=share). They both share tragic pasts and while they are generally polar opposites, they know how to bring the other out of their shell.

Whether or not you see Shadow and Rouge as "just friends" or whether you think there's 'something more" between them, you can't deny the two share a special connection with each other.

Look, another Rhythm Thief parallel! That scene where little Raphel chases after his father reminds me of the first scene from LMJ!

I think Level 5 looked at Sega and said, “Welp. Since you’re not finishing this Missing Father plot-line it’s obviously up to us. Cue feels and British voice acting.”  (Spoilers obviously for the opening of LMJ)
