Two very old, simlpe and plain cross stones near a narrow medieval country road which remind of a fatal event. There are no records testifying either the story or the event. The cross stones have already been documented on a handdrawn map of 1603 ("Beiden Kreutzen"). Cross and atonement stones have mostly been set up in places of misfortune and the related stories have been forgotten. Tales and legends surround these old stones.

I found this chiastolite at my local metaphysical store. Its beauty is seriously overwhelming, and I love its translucence. The graphite cross is very distinctive, which explains its other name, the cross stone (also: Greek chiastos, “cross marked”). It was sold to me as a protective stone against the evil eye.
