୨୧・when daisuke is jealous, he gets a bit pouty.

୨୧・not at first, though. while you’re talking to the person he’ll keep his chill, slinging an arm around you.

୨୧・perhaps he’ll pipe into the conversation a bit, making sure to include an offhanded comment somewhere in there about you being his girlfriend. just to remind them, of course.

“oh, y’know, this totally reminds me of this cafe we went to last week! it was actually the same one i asked her to be my girlfriend at..”

୨୧・he thinks he’s being slick…

୨୧・once the person is distracted and out of earshot he’s all over you, eyeing you like a sad puppy.

୨୧・if you try to ask whats wrong he’ll brush you off despite the fact that he’s visibly upset??

୨୧・once the two of you get home, though. he’ll cling onto you like a koala, especially in bed.

୨୧・if you catch wind of whats going on and ask if he’s jealous he’ll mutter a short “yeah..”

୨୧・despite his upbeat personality, daisuke does deal with some deep rooted insecurities. you’re so…. so great, after all, so out of his league, he thought. what if you realized that one day and left?

୨୧・he lives for your approval, however, and will take your assurance that no, you’re not gonna leave, and yes, he’s a perfect boyfriend, cherishing each and every one of your words.

୨୧・when you’re jealous, however, daisuke is a bit clueless.

୨୧・he’s not dumb or anything, but the thought genuinely doesn’t cross his mind!

୨୧・he’s loyal to you and only you, so in his head you have no need to be jealous at all.

୨୧・eventually either he’ll notice that you’re acting off and ask you what’s wrong or you’ll straight up tell him.

୨୧・he feels so guilty!! daisuke knows how it feels to come second to someone and he would never, ever want you to feel the same way :(

“you’re… jealous? of.. aw, babe, you should’ve said something! you know you’re my number 1, forever and always.”

୨୧・he spends the rest of the night clinging onto you and peppering you face with kisses, making sure you know you’re loved.
