Crip studies represent a theoretical framework to explore disability as an intersectional experience, connected to the way sexuality and normalcy are constructed. The presentation uses a crip lens to analyze chronic illness as a challenging embodiment, which questions assumptions on able-bodiedness, disability and citizenship.
