Sorry I wasn’t able to answer this sooner, a storm knocked out the internet at my house for a couple days. However, seeing as today is Tuesday, it couldn’t have worked out better; since TMI Tuesday used to be a thing on my blog and all. So, in the spirit of TMI Tuesday, here is a highly detailed list of my top 5 favorite comic book characters (in no particular order):

Spiderman

Spiderman’s been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. The Spiderman movie franchise was just starting out, and for a while they were some of my favorite movies (at least the first two were). Blame nostalgia, but I still think of the originals as the best ones. Granted, Homecoming is still on the way, so we’ll see if it changes anything for me when it comes out.

Daredevil

When Netflix released it’s Daredevil series, I found myself drawn to it, despite it being a lot darker than what I usually watch. I’m still not entirely sure what about him make him a favorite of mine, but he’s still a favorite all the same.

Flash

Out of all the Marvel and DC superhero shows put out so far, the Flash has to be the one I’ve enjoyed the most. With many of the current trends for superhero shows being dark and dramatic, the Flash was a brighter, more lighthearted show, which focused more on actual hero vs. villain conflicts rather than heavy personal drama; which I found much more enjoyable. (Though Barry seriously needs to stop messing with time line every chance he gets.) 

Captain America

Thought I was gonna chose another red suited superhero? Think again. Captain America has something that a lot of media has been leaving out or ignoring as of late: a deeply held set of values. Throughout the Captain America movies, values and morals tend to be a central theme; from the reason he was chosen to be Captain America to why he ended up facing up against Iron Man and co. in Civil War. He sticks by what he believes is right, no matter if it’s popular or not.

Deadpool / Raven

For the final entry, I just couldn’t decide between the two of them, so they’re both here. Deadpool’s here because… well, Deadpool. Plus, I do enjoy a good fourth wall break, and Lord knows he’s full of them. Then there’s Raven, who I remember from back when Teen Titans was actually enjoyable. I’m not sure why she’s still a favorite of mine after all this time; I guess I related to her a bit. Unfortunately, it’s been a while since I’ve seen her in anything really, otherwise I would’ve been able to pick a clear winner here.

Do you have any pets: We currently have 2 very hyperactive little dogs and 3 cats that live inside to varying degrees. One dog named Bella is mottled black and white and barks at anyone she doesn’t know, and the other named Dakota is so full of energy it’s almost impossible to tire him out. The cat’s names are Snowball, Ranger, and Cici, and are white and fluffy, orange and white, and gray with white patches, respectively. Two of them like to stay outside, but Cici tends to stay inside most of the day. 24. Do you want to change your name: No, it’s my name. Why would I want to change it? 25. What did you do for your last birthday: Went out to eat with the family. 26. What time did you wake up today: 10 o’clock... pm. I basically have no sleep schedule. 27. What were you doing last night at midnight: Playing Othello with one of my bros. I won. :) 28. Name something you can’t wait for: To leave the house and start travelling. It’s probably going to be a while before that happens, unfortunately.  29. Last time you saw your mom: around 1am, before she went to bed. 30. What is one thing you wish you could change about your life: I wish I had the money to start travelling right now. 31. What are you listening to rn: Still the IFMHW soundtrack.   32. I have no doubt that I have, but neither the person nor the conversation stuck in my memory. 33. What’s getting on your nerves rn: My throat’s been bothering me a bit, but that’s it. 
34. Blood type: I’d have to go find a medical form of some type. I think it’s A, but I’d have to go digging through some papers to know anything further. 35. Nickname: Jon, Jonny, Johnny, Cheeseburger Johnny (Please don’t actually call me that. It’s a very long story.) 37. Zodiac sign: Gemini 38. Pronouns: His/him 39. Favorite tv shows: Daredevil, The Flash, M*A*S*H*, Star Trek, Stargate, Steven Universe (not including anime since 1. they don’t actually air on tv here, and 2. including them would make this way too long) 
43. Long or short hair: If you mean mine, it’s actually going past my shoulders at this point. I either need to find a new hairstyle or get a haircut. 44. Height: 5'9″ or so, give or take an inch. 45. Do you have a crush on someone: No one irl. As far as fictional characters go, Kirara Bernstein from GJ-bu is bae. 46. What do you like about yourself: That’s a very vague question. I guess my eyesight and my personality type are things I’ve taken a bit of pride in.  47. Right or left handed: Right 48. First surgery: None that I can remember. 49. Piercings: none 50. First best friend: I never really stayed in one place long enough to have a best friend. 51. First sport you joined: Soccer 52. First vacation: My parents took me tons of places as a baby, but I have no clue where they went. I’d have to ask.

It’s from the RWBY soundtrack, and it’s awesome. There’s a clip from the show further down my blog that has the song playing in the background, if you’re curious. The scene itself is amazing as well.

WANT: 58. Kids: Probably, but not anytime soon. 
59. Get married: When I find the right person. 60. Career: An online business or possibly even a travel blog. I want to be able to make money from anywhere in the world so I can travel as much as I want.
