Here's a wip for y'all.

I’ve been trying different ways to let people know projects I am working on, but just posting a picture is easily lost through the eons of posts I have.  So on my Tumblr, I do have a dedicated tag for wips, which includes everything recently to years ago.

I have also been filling out my name on the archive (with no link obviously). This means I am working on it and am close to finishing it (or have completed it).  It’s not necessarily to deter anyone else from doing these projects, just a heads up.

I have several! Goldenflower- because she deserves so much better. she’s sweet but isn’t a pushover. she loved her kits endlessly and didn’t compare them to their father and made others treat them well. She’s a good character and I love her. Nightstar: another ableist screw up by the erins. He was a generally nice character who stuck with the elders when they needed him most. He deserved the be Nightstar. I was PISSED when he died. Tawnypelt- She didn’t take shit from anyone. I liked her as an adult the most. She sticks up for herself and just is very admirable. always put her best first. And I love me a butch woman who is still family oriented and sweet.Ravenpaw- sweetheart, big mood, and grew up into a happier person. I love him so much. He gave me a lot of emotion.Yellowfang/Smokefang in my rewrite: Sassy grandma. She made sense. and she was sassy and biting at points but deep down she truly was kind and sweet.Brokenstar/Scourge- good villains with interesting plotsTallstar- gay grandpa who’s whole personality is top notch. also is novella actually made me put down the book because it hurt. 

Ashfur- he had the most potential to as a character. Either for evil or for another complex plotline. the erins did not use him well but i have a soft spot for this shitty shitty man

To the friends, fans, and families of those who create, y’all are MVPs. It’s to you when we creators need advice, need reassurance when we’re feeling down or insecure of our work, who encourage us to go through with the thing! (Or help us get it done.)

Without you, there would be plenty of art that doesn’t get uploaded, fics that don’t get posted, meta that we don’t think people would enjoy reading about, videos we might not get to watch because “someone else has done that concept/cover/etc”, podcasts and podfic that might not have gotten listened to!

Those things we created -- it helps make the world a better place, where we could make someone happy, or make someone feel not alone, or help us connect with others. 

But it takes courage, and strength, to put it out there and without you, standing by us, that would be a harder task.
