Le Grand Aioli is a traditional French dinner dip that features a creamy garlic aioli sauce served with an array of charcuterie, vegetables, and bread. It's a delightful and communal way to enjoy a flavorful and satisfying meal with friends and family.
Ingredients: 1 cup mayonnaise. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 lemon, juiced. 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil. Assorted charcuterie e.g., cured meats, sausages. Assorted vegetables e.g., carrots, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes. Hard-boiled eggs. Boiled potatoes. Pickles and olives. French baguette or crusty bread.
Instructions: Put lemon juice, minced garlic, and mayonnaise in a bowl and mix them together. To make the aioli sauce, mix it well. Slowly add extra virgin olive oil while stirring the sauce all the time until it gets thicker. Put together a platter with different kinds of charcuterie, vegetables, hard-boiled eggs, boiled potatoes, pickles, and olives. Cut the French baguette or crusty bread into small pieces that you can easily eat. Put the aioli sauce on a platter with the meats and vegetables. Use the aioli sauce to coat the different foods, then eat them.
