I went with my sis to Target to find a Rayquaza figure (or Lucario), to no luck.
Thought about getting a Chilling Reign ETB, or maybe some Stellar Crown…
Grabbed a Legends Arceus ‘lunchbox’ from the card section instead (Note that I’m a bit delirious - eyes and brain aren’t processing correctly) I don’t even think it over, I just zone in on the Cyndaquil, Oshawott, and Rowlet on the back and immediately purchase it.
We head back to the car and I unwrap and look at what packs. 2 Brilliant Stars, 1 Fusion Strike, and 2 Evolving Skies!
So while I open the packs I start explaining that Evolving Skies packs go for a lot because you have a SLIGHT chance to get a sought after alternative art card. And then I open the final Evolving Skies pack - other pack didn’t have any heavy hitters - and here she was.
And we both screamed “WHAT THE SHIT!”
