The Raid: Redemption (2012)
Holy Shit. Seriously, this was one of the most satisfying action movies I have seen in a long, long time. Gratuitous violence, beautifully choreographed fight scenes, and a hero to root for, The Raid: Redemption had it all.Â
You know how in action movies there's that one fight scene or action sequence that everyone says "oh man, that's the best fight scene"? Well, This movie has at least half a dozen of those scenes. Can I praise it more? Heck yes. The way the film was shot and edited only added to the intensity. There was action from beginning to end, and enough blood and guts to make even the most hardcore action fan happy. So unless you are adverse to blood and guts, GO SEE THIS MOVIE!!! It won't be playing downtown for long.
