How have I not heard of the word “Crapulous” until now?
It first appeared in text in 1536, but it sounds like a word we would definitely make up nowadays.
It means:
The panty situation
I mean, if you really wanna know...
I was going to leave it as a mysterious mystery. Kind of a make up your own crazy adventure full of mixed types of alcohol, paper hats, a live band, beef jerky, and the exchange of underwear at some point.
However, it seems there is a bit of interest in what actually happened the night before breakfast.
So, would there be interest in something that lays it out for you, or do you prefer to imagine it for yourselves?
Maybe I could even find a few folks up to the challenge of writing their own version of events that would lead to the morning of Crapulous...anyone? Bueller?

Open to anyone else who is interested or has thoughts on the matter, hit me up if you want a recap of the drunken shenanigans, or want to come up with a version of your own!
🇺🇸🍺 Today is #NationalBeerDay in the United States. Thinking of all the bottles, cans, and mugs of beer being consumed today reminds us of a cool word: "crapulous," which means 'marked by intemperance especially in eating or drinking; sick from excessive indulgence in liquor.' In other words, if you're crapulous, it means that you drink or eat too much—to the point of being sick from it. We hope we didn't ruin the mood. Cheers. 🍻 (We created the picture by using Merriam-Webster's definition.) #vocabulary #crapulous #beer #drinking #alcohol #coolword #learnenglish #merriamwebster

I think this explains Saturday “It was during a particular risible weekend of roisterous maffiking that I found myself teetering on the dubious fulcrum between gambrinous and crapulous.” - #gambrinous #crapulous #maffaking #fantasticwords #risibleweeked #drunkeness #weddingparty #positivequotes #positivewaves #metalhobbit 🥴 (at Birmingham, United Kingdom) https://www.instagram.com/p/CTev6biCjqE/?utm_medium=tumblr
