Cities and towns in the Feywild are sparse, rare, and most fey travel, move or live in nature. Karilen isn't used to the busy streets of a city like Baldur's Gate when his tiny village, barely populated, is lost in the snow of the midnight realm.
Yet, there he is. Adventuring in those streets that welcome all kinds, from humans to elves to tieflings. And just for a tiefling he finds himself in Baldur's Gate. Rather, he arrived for a job, an easy one, and decided to stay a little more to find an old acquaintance of his.
The poor man has few connections that last long in his life and losing one is rather evident, it has its toll. Specifically, Karilen feels quite forgotten and he would like to know if something happened to this friend of his. Besides all the implications of their relationship, but they never specified anything between them: for all Karilen knows, he's convenient and now useless.
Sure, tieflings are many in this city and he has little chances to meet him, but one doesn't have to give up all hope in his life. If he finds him in the little time he concedes himself in the Material World, Karilen will be glad; if he doesn't, it's just another connection lost.
Perhaps he will return to the Feywild again and he will be able to act offended, just for the fun of it. Maybe they will never see each other again, and Karilen will simply toast to an old friendship.
In any case, he scans the crowd. Until he spots, there, among many other bodies, one of a specific powder blue. Karilen smiles, then slithers through the people, moving with agility.
Once at barely any distance from the tiefling he is interested in, he raises his arm and brushes his fingers on his shoulder, then rests his hand on it, to catch his attention.
"Good to see you again." He says, smile never leaving his face.
