Confession: I love making glass beads to use in my jewelry but I hate getting them off of the mandrels and cleaning them afterwards. I always have a hard time getting them unstuck and it seems to take forever cleaning all the bead release from each bead’s hole (maybe because I’m too perfectionist about it? 🤷‍♀️) I’m finally done this round of procrastination and am cleaning up this handful of beads on mandrels that I’ve had laying around for quite a while! 😝 Do you have something silly that you always procrastinate on too? 😜 naturebonestudio.com

Day 1. #marchmeetthemaker2020 A potted story! Born 1960 and brought up by Grandfather, a miner and grandmother kate. Only child, so had hour upon hour of time to dabble in crafts of many persuasions. Had to recycle and repurpose it was the Grandparents law. Went to Art college 1977 with @printnewt. Went to Art college 1982. Missed meeting partner by one year! Degree at Bradford 2003 met @suzanne_signwriter. M.A Leeds. (Unfinished at halfway point) 2004 Mum killed herself, she was 63 Obvs I passed go and collected £200 plus not necessarily all in one go😂 Gave up arts and various crafts several times over the years, but I am now using it to self medicate my mental health. Do not want to do what the Fanni mother did. So been doing my shizzle of the moment since forever. My story is not ended yet, keep happy, keep making, enjoy what you do!
