Scarlet carried the basket filled with eggs down through the village. “Here’s the eggs you requested last week, Mrs. Dawson.” She reached into her basket and pulled out a carton that had a dozen inside, handing it to the woman. She was thanked and off she went to the next house. She did this until there was only one carton left. She had specifically planned this route so she could save him for last, mostly since this meant she could spend more time with him than with anyone else in the village.
Her dark hair was hanging down for once, only a few braided strands pulled back. They were held together at the back of her head with a green ribbon, one that matched the majority of her gown, other than the dirty brown apron she wore.
She peeked her head around the corner, smiling as she saw him. Scarlet knew he would be right there, as she had heard the clanking of metal when she first started this journey. Seeing him just made it all the better. She casually walked up to the little shop. “James?”

As it was getting late out, the sun setting over the horizon, she had strolled down one of the quiet alleys. Best she go find an inn to stay at... Though, she soon paused, her cerulean blue eyes fixated on a small, long, thin creature sitting nearby. Approaching it carefully, she gave it a warm, affectionate smile, holding up her hands in a way to show she meant no harm and knelt down by the creature. "Why hello there... What are you doing out here on your own like this? I don't think I've ever seen something like you before," She explained softly, wondering if it would be okay to reach out and touch it's navy blue scales that shimmered in the little light of the alley.
