@cyclepsycho57 has a lot of great captions that work for my 'reverse' captions, where it's the spankee in the picture rather than the spanker, but of course this one works either way! And it suits a story that could be gender-neutral, which I like to do sometimes.

In a moment of extreme weakness, I had crossed the line regarding 'original work' and 'proper citations' (an easy thing to do in these days of so much AI!).

In a panic, I went to the Dean and begged to get my submission retracted and replaced and the incident forgotten.

Yes, I got the 'I'm disappointed in you' speech but Dr. Akerman was willing to help.

There would be a price for my salvation, however.

At first, I was so grateful that I was actually eager to get this whole thing literally 'put behind me'.

A lot of that enthusiasm didn't last - but at least it was over.

That's how it started - but was no means the end of it....

Dean Akerman suggested that a 'guiding hand' might make my life easier... and of course I was grateful for the help!

And I enjoyed the benefits as well... and rather frequently... may have had to do with how I said 'thank you'...

I was caught coming home at 3:30 in the morning after a Friday night of sneaking out... not only did she put a lock on my window, but I was told I'd be thrashed every Saturday morning for a month!

I knew I couldn't get out of the first one - but I had no idea how hard she'd make it! Ow! God! OW! She went on the warpath!

I tried to beg off of the second - but that didn't help AT ALL!

After that I came to dread Saturday mornings - and with good reason! Starting the day bawling and unable to sit down!

We had a bit of a fight... ending in the usual way.

It started when I said things like 'I hate my glasses, they make me look nerdy (which they do). I hate that I can't wear contacts!' Pretty soon this turned into the whole 'I hate my life' deal...

So my lover/ disciplinarian put my glasses on and, of course, she didn't look 'nerdy' at all! This didn't do my attitude any good!

"Yeah, you can't understand - because you never look nerdy! You always look hot! I'm really upset here and you're just 'oh, look, I don't look nerdy in these glasses. The glasses aren't nerdy, you are!"

"I didn't say that!" she reminded me.

Well, it went from there until she decided to put a stop to it. Fast. A pants-down, paint-stick spanking stop to it. Over the back of the couch, in the den.
