J is for Japan | we did some geography today and talked all about Japan! In the kitchen we made some simple pb+j & pb+banana sushi for snackin, he loved this! Cove decorated + colored a kimono as we talked about Japanese culture and wardrobe. Cove made a Japanese flag using construction paper (always trying to get scissor practice in) he unscrambled his tiles to correctly spell out Japan, he used the globe to locate Japan and we talked about its location and climates. We played 'sushi bar' and Cove was the sushi chef master creating the items I ordered -- this is a great for memory! He worked real hard on his chip sticks skills too! Lastly, he labeled his map of Japan with its capital and other major cities. I played Japanese music and we learned a few new words to say in Japanese! Cove has decided he's definitely traveling to Japan when he's older! Can Mama come? 🙆🏼 🇯🇵/ It was such a fun day learning about Japan. 幸せな学習! | ps.
