I was sent Lord of Embers by @cn_crawford and *swoon* … instantly overcome with #coverlust for these books. Don’t they look great? Lord of Embers is the sequel to City of Thorns, and second book in the Demon Queen Trials trilogy. I am looking forward to reading it 😏 Also, the books are on Kindle Unlimited! In this trilogy, you can expect: - Modern setting, in a demon city - Hot demon love interest - University student main character - Kidnapping the wrong person, oops - A suspenseful mystery - They kinda hate each other but also kinda want to bang I will drop the description of the first book in the comments. June 19, 2018 What is your favorite steampunk novel? One that comes to mind that I did enjoy reading was Incarceron. I’m very curious to what will happen in book 2. The cover of Legacy of the Clockwork Key really caught my eye! It’s a very beautiful cover. I am curious to what this mechanical bird has to do with the story. I know the story is mainly about a pocket watch but what about the bird?? 🤷‍♀️ This will be my next read!
