Hello Pretty Mama Couponers!!

What a great way to start my Monday morning by a shopping trip full of savings!! It definitely is true when they say you get a high from a great deal.  Especially when you walk away with items for free!! After dropping my son off camp, we headed to Wal-Mart this morning just to scan products.  While scanning we found several great deals!!  Here are our deals for Monday Motivation:

Herbal Essence

On sale for $2.50 per bottle (buy two for the coupon to work)

$2.50 x 2 = $5.00

–  $3.00/2 coupon from P&G 7/05

=$2.00 for a two herbal essences (meaning $1.00 ea.)

**As you can see in the picture I bought four altogether and used two of the $3.00/2 coupons**

I spent total: $4.00

  Schick Razor Disposable and Schick Hydro Shave Gel

Schick Razor Disposables are on sale for $5.97 ( I got lucky, hopefully, you will too but there was a coupon stuck to the package for $2.00!! If no coupon on package, you can use a coupon online for .50 cents off. However, every package at our wal-mart had a coupon stuck to it)

$5.97

-$2.00/1 coupon stuck to package

=$3.97

+ 2.97 (for my Schick Hydro Shave Gel)

– $3.99 ( a coupon online that if I buy one Schick razor I get a Shave Prep FREE. The coupon value is for $3.99 so regardless of how much the product is, you get $3.99 taken off you bill)

= $2.95 for 10 count razors and free shaving gel!!

TOTAL FOR EVERYTHING: $6.95

Ahhh, what a goodie deal!! It pumped my rainy Monday morning to feeling like the sun is shining on me!!  I will share the links to the online coupons I used today below.  Unfortunately, if you didn’t get the newspaper on July 5th you will not be able to get the herbal essences. We stopped in at Walgreens today to grab some “goodie” deals!! As well we learned a new things about Walgreens that makes this store even more confusing!!

Couple things to know before we show off our great deals. 1. You can NOT receive reward points if you use any reward points. 2. You can NOT receive any register rewards from the catalina (the print machine at the register) if you use them. 3. You can NOT receive double register rewards in the same transaction. (ex: buy one Colgate and receive $2 in register rewards; if you buy another Colgate you can NOT receive another reward in same transaction)

Those are some things I wish I knew before attempting couponing at Walgreens.
