Tole'afoa Heads BlueSky Samoa
BlueSky Samoa has announced the appointment of Chief Operations Officer, Toleafoa Douglas Creevey, as their new Country Manager. The appointment was made by BlueSky Communications President and BlueSky Samoa Chairman, Aoe’e Adolfo Montenegro. Mr. Montenegro recognized Toleafoa’s contributions to his executive team since the launch of BlueSky Samoa two years ago and is confident that Toleafoa will rise to the occasion and play an instrumental role as their new and first ever Country Manager.
In his new role, Toleafoa will be taking full responsibility for the development and growth of BlueSky Samoa in the Samoan market – which is BlueSky’s biggest market at present. He will guide BlueSky Samoa as it takes a step forward to becoming an Organization with an embedded continuous change capability, an Organization that looks at continuous improvement for increasing efficiency, and an Organization that continues development for sustainable growth.
Tole’afoa has international expertise in the Telecommunications mobile industry at senior management level, and hands-on experience in planning, rolling out, operating and managing of wireless networks. He has 20 years of experience in telecommunications mobile service providers including a proven track record in delivering results; managing teams and projects in technical design, implementation and network operations in challenging environments in both developed and developing markets including the South Pacific Islands, New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East.
He has worked for various Telecommunications companies across the Pacific including 5 years at VODAFONE (New Zealand) managing the country’s mobile network design and rollout team and left as Head of Facilities Management as well as Telecom Cook Islands.
