UQ Master of Counselling applications are now open for the 2014 intake via OzTREKK!

The Master of Counselling at the University of Queensland provides graduate students with an in-depth knowledge base and practice skills in professional counselling. This program achieves this through the encouragement of scholarship in counselling, professional skills training and attention to the recognition of the counsellor as a person within counselling. Students are required to complete 200 hours of supervised practice over two semesters.

Master of Counselling applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, social welfare, behavioural studies, human services, nursing, the therapies, medicine or related fields. Entry to the program will be considered on the basis of a recognition of previous academic study, experience and personal qualities.
