Update on my Sam cosplay! The backpack in general is made out of PVC pipes and some 3D-printed parts and connectors. I had to redo that part a couple of times, because it was really hard for me to figure out how it would work - however, the new photomode helped a lot. ( and also showed me a bunch of mistakes I had made in the instruction ) The cargo is completely self-made and took me forever. I used foam for the containers and had to sand them a lot to get the desired shape. One of them also needed to be able to open up for or stage skit, so that also gave me a headache. In the end, I wasn't completely satisfied with the result, so Aby suggested why not make the cargo look like it was through some timefall - and that I did. :3 I'm much more satisfied with the cargo look now, and it was a lot of fun applying the rust. :> The container tape is also self-made, I just got some plain neon-yellow type and water-slide decal paper for the text. I really really like the result so far! :3
