school of hard nocks (closed, emere)
There was an old city, on the outskirts of the main city, a ruin that could be seen even from their lowly perspective. It reminded them of that city at the bottom of the ocean, massive and telling a story that had long since ended. It called to them, and they thought nothing of it when their little boots hit the broken concrete.
Itâs quiet, besides the cries of birds and what look like figures off in the distance, running off when they notice Webeta. With no one to interact with, they just wander forward, neck craning upwards at massive towers and scanning through empty, open buildings. Someone had gone to a lot of trouble to make all this, they think, once. This one isnât filled with shadows of ghosts, at least, so they donât feel like theyâre constantly being watched.
The sense of an uneasy peace is seeped deep into the stone, they think as they hop up a flight of stairs in a destroyed building. They want a better view of what this mightâve once been, and this building looked like the most structurally sound, if you could consider such a building to be a structure, or sound.
At least, it seemed like it was, before the floor they get to gives way and sends them falling from the tenth floor of a building straight to the streets below. If only someone with a body that could absorb impact could be there to aid them.
