Name: Johann Stafford/The Bard
Class name/Department class falls under: Introductory Music/Arts Department
Curriculum necessities: The school will definitely need to provide instruments for the class, in as wide a range as its budget will allow. (i.e. guitars, violins, flutes, trumpets, a piano, etc) The students will also need staff paper/blank sheet music to write on, though the school doesn’t necessarily need to provide this, and the students would then be required to obtain their own paper for the class.
Previous experience related with subject to be taught and/or with being a teacher: I’m a bard! I’ve spent my whole life studying music and even longer loving it. I’m experienced in many instruments, and I believe I’m more than adequately equipped to introduce students to the wonderful world of music, both in music theory and in actually playing an instrument!
Extra requirements: No requirements per se, but preferably the class should be relatively small, around 20 students, so their learning experience can be more tailored to how they learn. I’m not here to destroy anyone’s perception of music, and in the arts, it’s much more of a fine balance than your average science class. Thank you very much for the opportunity!
Thank you very much for applying, Johann ‘The Bard’ Stafford; we’re happy to officially offer you the position and have you on board! Your necessities and requirements have also been looked over and approved. Instruments of nearly every variety have been prepared for the school and this class. If you or a student need a particular specialty instrument (like perhaps a pipe organ), please contact administration and we will sort it out. Your class sizes have also been, as stated before, approved. Please guide our students well.
