i got curious about the whole spacey mcdonalds chain, and while skimming a pic of the menu i noticed something potentially concerning.

amid panera being sued over improperly disclosing caffeine information, surely mcdonalds wouldnt do the exact same thing. i genuinely hope not.

but i wonder, what does energy burst mean??

this is the listing on the website. if something has caffeine you'd expect it to be mentioned here. even if it doesnt say how much - which it should - an explicit mention of its presence is needed.

at the bottom of this page was nutrition info, so i checked that. nope!

(i used "berry" to show that the doc does pick up text, as that's not always the case with pdfs)

okay let's check allergens. i guess that's where caffeine is usually included.

finally some mention of caffeine. how much exactly? still no clue.

i also checked for pictures of the now built locations. and while it's difficult to make out, it's pretty clearly the menu i came across to begin with
