GREEN HUES WIDEN AT THE SIGHT . a small , delicate hand reaches out to grab the man's attention . ❝ pardon me , sir ! ❞ a voice as sweet a honeysuckle on the lips . a thin digit lifts to extent and point at the bird upon his shoulder . ❝ your bird is absolutely beautiful ! may i ask his name ? ❞

so ultimately, in the end, THE ANSWER REMAINS THE SAME . . . alma would stop him. seal him, silence him, exorcise him. as is the duty of a sorcerer, to eliminate and suppress the evils of this world. and it's with a distant note of regret that alma looks up to meet his gaze. if it's going to end righteously anyway, what's the harm in devotion ? ❝ i would stay by your side. i would help you in the only way i know how. ❞ how could it really all be an act? is this what pretend feels like ? alma wonders, as he instinctively chases the hand on his cheek . ❝ would you let me in close enough to do so ? ❞

SHOOT SHOOT SHOOT ! THIS WASN'T PLANNED ! it was supposed to be a simple mission . follow the lead given to her by the source . scout out the warehouse . sneak in without being spotted . find the contact inside . except . . . that contact had been infected and now everything had been turned upside down !

AHHHH  --  she  was  trying  her  hardest  not  to  freak  out.  Keeping  her  face  straight,  her  mind  was  going  into  places  it  didn't.  Why  would  he,  out  of  all  the  people,  say  something  like  that?  What  kind  of  person  was  he  around  her?  Then  again,  she  couldn't  help  but  take  in  a  deep  breath  for  a  moment,  and  blushed.

"  Really?  Are  you  sure?"

She  said  lightly.  Really,  though,  she  felt  like  her  heart  might  burst  out  of  her  chest.  (Who  knows,  he  might  like  it)  Ten  again,  he  was  super  sweet  on  the  eyes,  and  she  wasn't  going  to  admit  that  she  was  so  crushing  on  the  way  he  was.  Yet,  she  couldn't  help  it  as  she  smiled  a  little  more.

“Oh,  oh!  But  you  don't  need  to  worry  too  much!  I'm  strong,  so  I  can  take  care  of  myself.  But  it's  super  adorable  to  see  that  you  care!  Makes  me  fall  in  love  with  the  type  of  person  you  are!” 

She was always in a mood when someone wanted to get into her personal space. With him, though, he had always cornered her to ask her random, dumb questions, and it drove her crazy. Being asked if she hates him, he had already backed her into a wall, blushing and upset, she kept her eyes looking up at him. Trying to find her way to get out of his arms. 

"Sometimes? How about all the time? You're smug and annoying. " Sure, there was a small pout from her lips. He was something else -- but she knew not to fall for it. Every time she fell for it, something where to happen to her. So, she needed to find a way to get away from him, but he was always picking up a fair fight when it came to keeping her where she was. 

"You keep teasing me, too. Who's gonna enjoy being teased all the time? Especially by someone like you!"

He felt his back hit the wall rather roughly. Those eyes met with the other's he didn't flitch, nor try to move away. Hands stay at the side for a moment, he watched the other for a moment or so.

" If you want something, say it. "

He wasn't very happy being this close to the other, but it was amusing to see how far the other would get him cornered. He would never have thought this would be like that -- but seeing how the other would push and push until he had enough, it almost made Nanami smirk.

" I'm not a toy for you to play with. Keep whatever dark thoughts you have to yourself," he sighed. “ you keep backing me into a corner like you want something. Are you that down bad for me, or what? I would never have thought someone like you wanted my attention so badly.” 

The blonde couldn't help but think about it for a moment. there were plenty of things they could do. Drink, party, --- but Nanami wasn't usually one for going out to have fun, yet he knew this one was good at flirting. So, the most he could do was ---

" what are you up for? I would say drinking, but part of me feels like alcohol will have no effect on you. Then again, we can drink until we find out what gets you the most."
