One of my faves is in for repairs. Shown over/under OOTD here. I wore it for >10 hours every day for more than a month. Most days quite snuggly laced. I put so much stress on it that the steel boning gave way in two locations. I learned that I need spiral boning on my corsets, also reinforced busk. And also that more than one corset during waist training periods should help to lessen the wear on each.
Ya know since I corset, my waist is noticeably small, but like strangers feel the need to point it out and I don't necessarily want to tell random strangers I corset because I don't want to HAVE that conversation or any conversation with some stranger work, so usually I smile and nod but like do they think I didn't notice that my waist was much smaller than it should be for my size? And it's not like there's a compliment or a question, they're just like 'wow you have a tiny waist' idk its just strange to me to point out someone's body shape to them as if they don't know
Corset rant
I love watching corset videos, but when people talk about ordering their first corset like 12 inches smaller than their natural waste, and then complain that it's hard to lace up, c'mon! Educate yo self!
I wore a corset for 13 hours yesterday. That's the longest I've ever worn one. I'm aching today.
