Corriedale wool is hard to spin!
Because it’s so lofty and not as smooth/long as Merino or BFL, Corriedale does tend to spin kinda slubby. I’ve been drop spindling for about 8 years and a lot of what I’ve had to spin is Corrie, because I’ve gotten fiber from local farms/the homeschool 4H group and that is the type of sheep most of the kids raise. So I can spin it fairly evenly on a drop spindle but that allows more time for drafting. This was baslcally the first time I used a wheel.
