i feel like i’m never gonna catch up lol, but i’m finally at the end of May and i’m begging Corrie to give me more David and Roy scenes please.

it just feels like Corrie is doing Tyrone’s abuse storyline all over again but with Yasmeen instead. if they were gonna fill in the blank for a storyline, did it have to be this one??

Tracey is seriously such a good mum and doesn’t get enough credit and it’s because for all her faults she really does try to understand Amy. She could have freaked out about Amy going to a party after last time but she didn’t, she trusted her daughter has learnt from the past and wants her to still be able to have fun. However, she still maintains the parental distance by telling Amy what time she’ll pick her up, but then is also cool by straightaway saying she’ll pick both Amy AND Asha up. She didn’t need asking, she just says she’s gonna do it and later on does the smart thing and oks it with Dev which is how this whole thing comes out. Controversial opinion: Tracey Barlow is one of the best parents in Coronation Street, fact.
