The soft breeze accompanying the warm sunlight streaming through the tree branches made for the perfect weather for a lazy walk in the park. Kiki's sunkissed arms reached above her head as she stretched, smiling up into the sunbeams that barely peeked through the leaves above.

After a long time dealing with tomb robbers in Cairo, it was nice to come back to cooler summer temperatures and vibrant green foliage.

And water; the fountain at the centre of the park reminded her of how difficult it could be to come by water in the middle of the desert. As she stepped away from the trees and closer to the fountain, she noticed a black mass laying beside it. When she stepped even closer, she could see it was black fur; a large canine, and it brought a huge smile to her face.

Confused at first, Kiki only tilted her head to the side to get a better look at the canine before setting her hand down on his head and just slowly petting his head and neck. “Hello there.”

          There had been many things in his life that Kau seemed to treasure, but with his nature and constantly being moved from place to place these things did not stick with him for long. As he was passed off to a new master ,it was getting harder for him to find something to treasure, something that he knows will bring him happiness if he thinks about it or by just touching it, if it’s something that he carries around with him.

          It could be said that the outfit he wears, which was provided by Arbitro, his first master and the reason for his dog-like behavior and the scars on his body, is something he treasures. The leather outfit which he now adorns along with the bit that he tends to keep in his mouth, biting to satiate his hunger, has been with him for as long as he can remember. The outfit feels comfortable against his skin. One could say that he treasures it. However, with each new master there had been times when he wore a different outfit which he began to treasure, because his master actually gave him a present. Any thing that is given to him by his master is deeply treasured by Kau.
