wouldn’t the solution be to play in third line w misa or even with wenny? idk why he insists on playing on the first line bc he won’t have time and space to figure out like he seems to need sometimes (every time he gets in his head like this). i think i would have preferred him developing/growing at his own pace bc no one is putting that much pressure if misa or eklund don’t produce as much because they are not on mack’s line and don’t need to keep up with him. also, the tunnel vision they had for each other last night was bad w forced passes especially in the first and second periods so this duo thing might be hurting both of them more than benefiting them. i am all for separating them into different lines next season (people won’t like it but forced passes across ice are painful to watch).
